FINKENBECK, VANDELICHT, WILPRICHT/Willpicht/Willpratt
I am looking for information about the following surnames in Montgomery County. WILPRICHT -- also spelled Willpicht and Willpratt. The family of John WILPRICHT was listed in the 1860 and 1870 census of Montgomery County, but due to the variety of spellings, I couldn't locate it in the Soundex for 1880. I am looking for burial information and information on daughters. Mary married Garrett VANDELICHT in 1865 and Catherine married Antine FINKENBECK in 1870. The family lived in the Lower Loutre Township. Also, included daughters Mena, Dena and Sallie. John's wife Catharine died between 1861 and 1870. Looking for any information -- John and Catharine were both born in Germany. Thanks.

Looking for information on Mary HORTON (age 11 in 1870 census) and Mathilde HORTON (age 8 in 1870 c.) living with William R. ESTES (wife Sarah) in Callaway county. Sarah ESTES may be their mother, however other information I have indicates her maiden name was HILL. Any help with this will be appreciated.

Looking for descendants of William John and Mercena (ZUMWALT) BROWN. Married 10 June 1830, Lincoln Co., MO. Settled in Montgomery County in Bear Creek township. They are buried in a family cemetery on the home place outside of Jonesburg, MO. Children were Elizabeth. (married William HOPKINS), William Jasper (married Sallie YOUNG), John, Cordela, Josiah R, Mahulda (married John LOCKRIDGE), Polly, James Montgomery, David Crocket (married Hannah SAUDERS), Dulicina Jane (married William ZUMWALT) and Pernelia. I am searching for information on Marie Ellen (NOSLER) RICHARDSON, date of birth 7 Jan, 1887, date of death 16 Sep 1958,according to Montgomery City Standard. I believe she is my grandfather's sister. I am looking for information on him also. W. E. NOSLER buried in or near Sikeston, MO, late 1920's-early 1930's. Other siblings were Alice (NOSLER) HUBER m. KEITH, LOVE, McMAHAN
Mattie D. McMAHAN married Wallace KEITH at Danville, MO, 18 Nov 1891. Mattie lived in Callaway County. Mattie's mother was Louisa LOVE, her father Isham McMAHAN. Wallace and Mattie were my grandparents. The KEITHS moved into Montgomery County about 1846 to the present time. At present I am trying to confirm a connection in the KEITH line.

Found! We found George Mortimer Keith, and a lot of ancestors in the process, all descendant from George Keith of Charles County, Maryland. He arrived there in 1666 from Scotland. George M.'s father was Richard M. Keith.(1 Feb 1998)

I am seeking information on the family of Daniel B. DAVIS and Tantha V. ESTILL who were married on July 15, 1846 in Lawrence Co., MO. Daniel was the son of James DAVIS and Jemima HAYS and Tantha was the daughter of James ESTILL and Matilda VAN BIBBER. Daniel and Tantha were on the 1850-1880 censuses of Montgomery Co., MO. Both are buried in Nettles cemetery near Mineola, MO. Children: Joseph L., Elizabeth J., Samuel E., Lewis L., to CA; Robert A. to TX; Matilda, Pamela G., Virginia L., and Almyra L. to CA.

I am looking for information on the DICKEY family. I have the following information: William b. 1803 in NE, d. 1851 in High Hill, MO. Married Sarah Ann HOLLEY and had seven children: Eliza, Gibson, James, Peter, Joseph, Edward. After death of Sarah Ann he m. Mary Ann [Unknown] had two children: Sarah Ann and California. Joseph b. 1842 and d. 1917 in Americus m. Mary Elizabeth BROWN in 1863. Served in Union army as blacksmith. Was in Co. C, 9th MO Vol. and also Co. D, 18th Reg. of MO Infantry Vets Vols. He and Mary Ann had eleven children: Joshua; Joseph; Laura; Fannie; Ada; Annie B.; Howard J.; Charles E.; Oscar G.; and Bessie M. Joshua b. 1866 and d. 1932 m. Sarah Frances OLIVER 1890. Their children: Stella, Mamie Jewel, Elmer E., Eva Pearl, Clara Mildred, and Harris. He owned a farm north of Montgomery City which he lived on until he died. It was later owned by Verner ROGERS, husband of Stella. It has been sold in the last ten or fifteen years. Would appreciate any help you can give.

KEMPINSKY
My ancestors, the KEMPINSKY family lived in Wellsville, Missouri. In fact they were there from 1855 to 1905. I am interested in finding out if anyone is doing research on this family. Two of the brothers, Abraham and Lee (my great-grandfather) were in the Civil War in Co. F, 49th. They owned much land including a general store in Wellsville and a farm outside of Wellsville.

ALVEY, MOUNTS
Need help in locating any information on the MOUNTS family in Montgomery County, MO. I believe they resided in the county from about 1865. My grandfather William P. MOUNTS married a Mary Ellen ALVEY who also resided in the county. They had at least five or six children during the time they lived in Montgomery County. There could be a Joseph MOUNTS who lived there; he would be my great-grandfather. Thank you for any assistance.
