GRISHAM/GRISUM, MOSER
I'm looking for any information that will prove the William GRISHAM listed in the 1840 census for Montgomery Co., Donnelle Twp, was the husband of the Cathrine GRISHAM listed in the 1850 census for Montgomery Co., Dist. # 61. I have a marriage bond for William GRISUM and Cathrine MOSER from Sumner Co., TN, dated 27 December 1811 which I believe is this couple but don't have positive proof. A will for William GRISHAM would be nice or seeing William and Catherine GRISHAM burried together, or even knowing that Donnelle Twp and Dist. #61 are the same place would be nice. Catherine MOSER? GRISHAM was listed in the 1850 census as born in North Carolina abt 1800 and had at least 7 children, all born in Missouri, the oldest listed as born about 1822. It's certainly possible there were a couple older. Any help appreciated.

ELLIS
I was hoping that someone who reads this might have access to a Broderbund Family Archive CD and could kindly do a lookup for me. On Family Archive CD #227 (Marriage records 1728-1850 for AR CA IA LA MN MO OR TX) there is a marriage listed for Pendleton ELLIS. On Family Archive CD #5 (Marriage Records 1766 -1891 AR MO MS TX) there are listed marriages for Paschal P. ELLIS and Julia ELLIS (or Julia J. ELLIS.) These people are all children of Loren DeWolf ELLIS and Malinda PRICE [see ELLIS, PRICE query below]. The marriages in question would be between 1840 and 1870 in Missouri. Probably Montgomery County. I would like to know the dates and names of spouses, and any other information available. Thank you very much!

ELLIS, PRICE
I am looking for info/descendants of Loren DeWolf ELLIS, b. 1804 in Yarmouth, NS, who came to Missouri and married Malinda PRICE, 8 Feb 1829. They had three children: Pendleton Price ELLIS, Paschall Porter ELLIS, Julia Josephine ELLIS. I have a letter from Cousin Pendleton to my grandfather dated Dec. 24, 1888 and postmarked New Florence, MO. Pendleton would have been abt. 55-58 years old. He mentions that his baby is 13 and his eldest is 26; that he has two grandchildren in Cotapaxi, Colorado, aged 3 and 6 mo. If anyone is a descendant, I have the ELLIS line from Loren back to Nova Scotia, Massachusetts, and England in 1621. I would like to know more about Loren DeWolf ELLIS's descendants and the PRICE family. Loren is the brother of my Ggrandmother -- my GGuncle. The descendants of Loren's brother, Joseph Alden ELLIS are scattered from Wisconsin to Oregon; I have some info on them also. My branch of the family stayed in Nova Scotia, MA, and NY.
