Montgomery County is in the
east central part of Missouri. The county seat is Montgomery
City. According to US Census Bureau, the county is 542 square miles. There are several major highways, Interstate 70, US Route 40, Missouri Route 19, Missouri Route 94, Missouri Route 161 National Register of Historic Places St. Martin's Church An Ancient site was found during archaelogical excavations at Graham Cave on the Loutre River |

organized 14 Dec 1818 (effec 1 Jan 1819) from St. Charles County and
named for Richard Montgomery, A Revolutionary War General. For
