My GGgrandfather Jonathon Douglas EARP and his wife Dorcas COX moved from KY prior to the Civil War, sometime after 1856, to Montgomery County. The family moved to Barton County before 1858. Others believe he moved to Barton in 1869. Regardless, he was a Methodist Episcopal minister. Do you have any info on his time in Montgomery Co?

I am currently looking for information about my great-grandparents, John William SINGLETON (b. 23 Apr 1850 Danville, MO - d. 4 Feb 1902 Danville, MO) and Sarah Ann MaTHEWS SINGLETON (b. 24 Jan 1863 Americus, MO - d. 6 Mar 1948 Pasadena, CA). The family owned a farm in Danville. Of their nine children, two were born in Danville: Donni Arlene b. 12 Apr 1887 and Nita Margaret (my beloved Grandma) b. 22 Mar 1901, the others being born in Colorado. I am hoping to be able to find out the names of their parents, date of marriage (which I'm fairly sure was in Danville), military service, and, well, anything that can be found. My ggggg-grandfather Thomas TRIPLETT's last known place of residence is Montgomery Co, where he bought land in 1839. We don't know what happened to him after this, but he would have been at least in his seventies by then, but possibly older. His wife's name was Elizabeth WASHBURN or Mashburn, and she may have been considerably younger than he. Any help you may be able to give me with this elusive fellow would be greatly appreciated.

It starts at 10:00 a.m. and we have a carry-in lunch and meeting with a lot of fun.
