My GGgrandfather Jonathon Douglas EARP and his wife Dorcas COX moved from KY prior to the Civil War, sometime after 1856, to Montgomery County. The family moved to Barton County before 1858. Others believe he moved to Barton in 1869. Regardless, he was a Methodist Episcopal minister. Do you have any info on his time in Montgomery Co?

I am hoping to be able to find out the names of their parents, date of marriage (which I'm fairly sure was in Danville), military service, and, well, anything that can be found. I would be deeply grateful for any information you can assist me with, and additional resources.

FINLEY, GRAY, PRICE
Searching for the family of Mary "Polly" GRAY b. 17 Jun 1824 in Kentucky, who was raised by her grandparents in the Brush Creek area of Montgomery Co., MO, from age of three. Not sure who the grandparents were -- maybe Joseph GRAY and Mary FINLEY. Found information on the GRAY family from "Missouri Pioneers," p. 259. Possibly Mary was the daughter of William GRAY and Margaret PRICE, who were married in Warren Co., KY, in 1822. Hope to find more about all of these families. Mary GRAY married Francis Beatty CLARE in abt. 1840 in Lincoln or Montgomery Co., MO. Am told that she had a brother, Robert GRAY, who went to Pike Co., MO, and a sister who married George FENTEM. Thanks for any help.

My ggggg-grandfather Thomas TRIPLETT's last known place of residence is Montgomery Co, where he bought land in 1839. We don't know what happened to him after this, but he would have been at least in his seventies by then, but possibly older. His wife's name was Elizabeth WASHBURN or Mashburn, and she may have been considerably younger than he. Any help you may be able to give me with this elusive fellow would be greatly appreciated.

Am hunting for the HIGGENBOTHAM family. Know some lived in Montgomery County at one time. Thank you for any help you can give me. Please let me know where on line I can get the information as I am disabled and cannot drive to there to look for myself.
The HIGGENBOTTOM family has a reunion every August at Halfway, Missouri, on Highway 32. I am secretary for the reunion and it is held the first Sunday of August each year. We have over 300 family members and a lot of them attend each year. The reunion is held at the Lion's Club house which sits right next to a concrete plant and has a large parking lot. It starts at 10:00 a.m. and we have a carry-in lunch and meeting with a lot of fun.
